Vladyslav Los

Quantum Tech M.Sc. with experience with sc-qubits and quantum AI looking for a remote internship and full-time employment after graduation

About Vladyslav

My main fields of interest in science lie in the domain of quantum science and technology. I worked on quantum optimal control virtually at IQC in Waterloo in 2021. I continued the project of optimal superconducting qudit control in 2022, now in the scope of my Bachelor’s thesis at IQC.

I do research on Quantum Reinforcement Learning as a student assistant at QAR-Lab at the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich. In August 2022 I did a project on variational quantum algorithms for quantum circuit compilation. My particular interests there are variational quantum circuits and the applications of QRL.

Work Experience

Nov 2021 - present
Research Assistant
QAR-Lab at LMU Munich
Part-time student position as a research assistant at the Chair of Mobile and Distributed Systems of the Institute of Computer Science at the LMU Munich. At QAR-Lab I contribute to the research in the field of quantum reinforcement learning through both theoretical and numerical work doing a literature review and programming the implementations of QRL models. The work involves scientific project management and project planning with GitLab and Atlassian tools. In the development, popular quantum software frameworks are used, such as Pennylane, Tensorflow Quantum, as well as Qiskit, Cirq and others.
